Dr. Jens Elsner, Telecommunications
Dr. Elsner leads the Engineering Services unit of Munich Innovation and serves as industry expert for signal processing and telecommunication patents. His research and consulting projects focus on signal processing for industrial and medical applications, secure radio communications and spectrum regulation. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical and information engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and is co-inventor of patent applications in the area of ad hoc network communications and optoelectronic sensors.

Dr. Meiko Hecker, Technology Transfer
Dr. Hecker supports the technology transfer of the Technical University of Darmstadt as a consultant, teaches a class in entrepreneurship and is an expert for the technology transfer from research institutions.
Dr. Hecker holds a diploma in architecture (TU Darmstadt and National University of Singapore) and in economics (TU Munich and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) plus a Ph.D. in entrepreneurship and technology transfer from the TU Darmstadt.

Dr. med. Simon Weidert, Healthcare
Dr. Weidert is a doctor at the trauma orthopedics department of the Hospital of the University of Munich. He is head of the research group Computer Aided Surgeries and Simulation and focuses on the intersection of medicine and computer science. An area of particular interest for Dr. Weidert is the commercialisation of new technologies in the healthcare market. Amongst other projects, he took part in the development of a next-generation intraoperative X-ray device and won several national business competition prizes with his team of SmartSurgicalSolutions. For more than 20 years Mr. Louis has been working in the information and communication technology sector and was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2004 for his achievements. Dr. Lars Ullerich is founder and managing director of GNA Biosolutions GmbH. The company develops instruments for ultra-fast DNA diagnostics with nano particles. He holds a Masters degree in Biotechnology from the trinational university "Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie Strasbourg (ESBS)" in France.
